I had a wonderful time collaborating with Deanna on the cover of her memoir. She shared a detailed proposal outlining her vision for a mountain peak view with ridges, trees, a river, and a path, plus God’s hand clasping hers in the foreground. We focused on subtle hands in clouds, natural elements to symbolize life influences and connections.
Using her photos for inspiration, I balanced colors, light, and shadows to capture darkness and hope. Started with mockups exploring ideas, refined based on feedback to the final design she loved. The process fit her timeline for January publish, ensuring print-ready PDF with bleed.
